Staff Writer
You will contribute written pieces to the magazine's blog posts and help edit the pieces submitted during open desk issues. You will be required to write at least 1 blog post per week and edit the writing assigned to you within a specified timeframe. You must have previous writing and editing experience. This position requires 1-3 hours per week.
Staff Artist
You will contribute art pieces to the magazine's issue designs and marketing, and help review the artwork submitted during open desk issues. You will be required to work on a specified number of issue designs and review a specified number of artwork assigned to you within a specified timeframe. You must have previous art experience and mastery. This position requires 1-3 hours per week.
Graphic Designer
You will primarily work on creative posts for the Instagram and overall design/layout aspects of the issues. You will be required to make 1 post per week and collaborate with the EICs and other graphic designers to ensure the issue is cohesive, aesthetically pleasing, and maintains the identity of our brand. You must have previous graphic designing experience with utilities and platforms such as Canva. This position requires 2-4 hours per week.
Outreach Officer
You will look into and initiate collaborations with other literary magazines/projects. You will be required to maintain contact with other magazines and being confident in reaching out to other people and organizations, doing so by drafting outreach messages and coming up with creative ideas.
Content Creator
You will make short-form videos such as Reels and TikToks to gain a broader audience and create more engagement. These videos can be educational or promotional. It is preferred that you show your face, but it is not mandatory. You will be required to make 1 video per week and keep an eye on current trends and statistics. This position requires around 1 hour per week.
